PG 1/60 ZGMF-X20A STRIKE FREEDOM WIP 6

Luckily, I had time to do more work on this commission since I'm on a week off my internship since the project we were working on was completed... And I did spent some serious amount of time (maybe a little bit excessive) while at work... [Either I am workaholic or motivated... hmmm...]

Anyways... done with almost everything except the two beam rifles...

Still needs a little bit more cleaning, dusting, and extra coating before photography session...

-Filled up the empty space of the wing connector with 9mm (total) thick plaplates... Covered with unused foil stickers...
- Cemented the two halves of the main dragoon unit, sanded to smoothen... Applied several coats of future to protect against upper layer of Tamiya enamel gold washes for panel lines...
-painted some gold details with Tamiya acrylic silver.
-Several coats of Future on white parts, then enamel gold panel lines, then applied Gunmetal from Tamiya Weather Master Set C...
-Stickers applied last to Dragoon systems...
-Red parts had several coats of Future, then applied black enamel washes for panel lines and filters...

Might do another coat of High Gloss Coating (Future) since the shininess of the parts are uneven... had a hard time applying gloss coat since more parts are bigger than parts of the main Gundam itself...

The idea of applying several coats of Future is not only to give a glossy shine but also to protect the plastic itself against any chemicals like Tamiya Enamels which makes Bandai Plastic brittle overtime which might cause it to break...

The Strike Freedom might appear dusty in the photos... well it is but it can be dusted off still...

Needs a Gunpla break at the moment...

My fingers hurt and I smell like crap...

Ja...
